PROCESS At each level, the following competencies are assessed: The DELF Tout Public is reserved for older teenagers and adults between levels A1 to B2. The candidate should pay attention to the way in which they express themselves, as well as the way in which they interact with others, during the activities presented in each test. It also assesses the candidate’s knowledge of how to use the language, their social skills and their ability to learn within a linguistic, sociolinguistic and pragmatic framework. C2 candidates are capable of using the language for academic and advanced-level purposes. DALF C2 (please note AFTT does not currently offer the DALF)Ĭ2 users’ proficiency in the language is illustrated by precision, appropriateness and fluency of expression. They can produce clear, well-structured discourse without hesitation and which shows controlled use of structures. They have a large vocabulary and can choose the appropriate expression to introduce their comments.
They can express themselves fluently and spontaneously. Language users at level C1 are independent.
